Chitram TV Setup Guide

This Chitram TV setup guide walks you through installing the app on each device and getting the channels to load. If you just want to know which devices work, start with how to watch Chitram TV.

Before you start

• A device: Fire TV Stick, Android phone/box, or Smart TV.
• A stable connection (15 Mbps+ recommended for HD).
• 10 minutes and a bit of patience for the first install.

Install on Fire TV Stick

1. Go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options and turn on Apps from Unknown Sources.
2. From the home screen, search for and install the Downloader app.
3. Open Downloader and enter the URL for the Chitram TV APK (or install an IPTV player such as TiviMate or IPTV Smarters).
4. Install, open the app, and add your playlist/source if asked.
5. Wait for the channel list to load, then start watching.

Install on Android (phone / box)

1. Install the Chitram TV app or an IPTV player from the Play Store.
2. Open it and, if prompted, add the source or playlist.
3. Let channels load and press play.

Install on Smart TV

Android TV and Google TV use the same apps as Android — install from the built-in store. For other Smart TVs, plug in a Fire Stick or use a compatible IPTV player.

Common setup errors — and fixes

• App won't install: enable Unknown Sources and free up storage.
• App opens but no channels: the playlist/source is wrong or expired — re-add it.
• Constant buffering: the free servers are overloaded; wire in by Ethernet or switch to a premium service.
• Channels keep disappearing: free lists aren't maintained — this is the #1 reason people upgrade.
